Cormorants

After four years of tempting hundreds of Double-Crested Cormorants to migrate from the old East Span of the Bridge Bridge to the new East Span, the migration has finally happened. It hasn't been easy, and it didn't happen until the last deck of the old Bay Bridge was removed, that the birds "discovered" the new home that has been waiting for them all along. Videographer Mark Jones and photographer Noah Berger floated under the new nesting colony, gingerly avoiding what birds do best when they fly overhead.
