Commonwealth Club Panel on Infrastructure

Once admired around the world, the US Instructure of highways, transit and city streets is now lagging far behind othe rmodern countries. The American Society of Civil Engineers went as far as to give us a D+ on Infrastructure. Congress, year after year, has done little to shore up the nearly bankrupt Federal Highway Trust Fund. A panel of experts recently gave the stark numbers on the loooming crisis, along with potential long-term solutions, at the historic Commonwealth Club of California.
