Bay Bridge East Span Demolition Update

The demolition of the old Bay Bridge East Span passed a milestone this summer when the last piece of the cantilver section was cut out, and sent off to be recycled. That completed phase one and ushered in phase two of the demolition, moving east towards Oakland. Meanwhile, removal of the cantilever has made way for completion of the replacement span's bike/ped path. MTC newsman Mark Jones takes viewers on a guided tour of the demolition/construction zone.
