California's Highway 37 cuts through delicate wetlands, but also provides a critical link between the Bay Area's northern counties. Climate Change is already affecting the highway, and flooding on the roadway caused its closure for 28 days in 2017.
The Bay Bridge's tunnel is once again jolly with its annual holiday wreath. The tradition began 80 years ago, and despite it disappearing for a few decades during that time, 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic couldn't take the bridge's wreath away.
