EV Video Wins 2015 Emmy Award

Witnessing the public excitement surrounding the Experience Electric events convinced MTC news videographer Mark Jones to lease a plug-in Ford hybrid EV in 2014, and document his positive experience with it. Jones has grown to love his car, which he nicknamed "Ruby Red Electric," and which he often charges for free through his home's solar energy system and public charging stations. His four-minute video story recently won a prestigious 2015 Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences/San Francisco-Northern California Chapter.
