Bayfront Expressway Widening

Project Description:
The Bayfront Expressway (State Route 84) in San Mateo County serves as the western approach to the Dumbarton Bridge from U.S. 101. The original roadway was a four-lane facility with no shoulders. The expressway has been widened to six lanes, three in each direction, with full standard shoulders and lane widths. This project was completed in January 2004.
